We are delighted you’re thinking of baptism for your child. Your child is precious to you and precious to God. At baptism you promise to raise your child to know God loves them, and to help them to follow Jesus as a member of the Church.
If you are considering baptising your child at St Johns, and you are not already a regular attender at the church, we encourage to to come and join us in some of our weekly services. The initial point of contact for baptism preparations is Anne Laurence our church administrator who is generally available after the main Sunday morning service which takes place at 10.30 a.m. If Anne is unavailable at the service, you can contact her on 0117 9671784. You will be invited to meet with some of the church members and staff at our partnership churches, as part of a baptism preparation group. Most of our baptisms take place as part of our main Sunday morning services at 10.30 a.m..
